Sorry, I'm a little late on the update from our last appointment.
Everything went really well for the most part. We were a little confused about what was going to happen at this appointment though. Turns out this wasn't the heart echo... That actually isn't until Oct! They did do a normal ultrasound, so we did get to see our, now much bigger, baby again! That was definitely my favorite part.
Our last ultrasound was only at 8 weeks, then it only looked like a little gummy bear with a flicker in the middle. This time, it actually looked like a baby! A head eyes, nose, lips, arms, fingers, toesies... It was so amazing. It definitely takes after Alex...moving everywhere, and it even jumped a couple of times. I think that was Alex's favorite part. Its so cute to watch him tell people about it moving so much. We still have to see the maternal fetal medicine doctor as well as our normal OB. They said they are treating it like a high risk pregnancy until they find out weather or not the baby does have a heart condition or not. They said right now everything looks good in the baby's development! When we were about to leave I had a dizzy spell and a horrible headache. They made me lay back down for a little while and took a couple test. My blood pressure was ok, but my blood sugar was only 65! She said a normal level is 100 to 110. So I guess we'll find out if everything is ok with that on Wednesday during our next appointment. Other than that everything was awesome, and it was great to see our little one again.
